On day one of the 2021 Quality Conference, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recognized Livanta as a "rock star" for outstanding contributions to the advancement of the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care - Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO) Program. Referencing their development work that supported the electronic transfer of medical records, the award recognized the Livanta team for "their ability to innovate using technology to help streamline their processes, resulting in the more efficient use of scarce Medicare Trust Fund dollars."
Livanta Executive Director Lance Coss and Chief Technology Officer Randall Severy each spoke in a BFCC-QIO discussion about the need for technologic capabilities to support BFCC-QIO services to Medicare patients, their families, and their caregivers - from enhancing communication with patients to automating and expediting case review functions. With the goal of leveraging technology to become more "high touch," Livanta is poised to become a steady force in proactively addressing the needs of Medicare beneficiaries and families.
